Post: NGU Official Debate of the Week #2 Jan 5 - Jan 12

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Debate 1 Didn't turn out to be too interesting :(. I decided to make debate 2's topic more based on gaming.

The Topic is: What is a correct "No Scope" on Call of Duty: World at War

This mainly is brought up because of the fact sometimes people tap the L1 button or the "zoom" button before shooting. In my opinion a no scope should be a no scope either don't scope at all or scope in all the way which would be a quick snipe which pisses me off mainly in no scope games . So pretty much I say a no scope with tricks such as a "G" shot, Twitch Shot etc. should be aloud but when you start scoping in It wouldn't be considered a no scope

I still don't get it. Being a semi-automatic just makes it less accurate. It's just stupid not to allow it in matches.

No its not and your acting inmature.

Since its less accurate your skill level has to be good. The less accuracy makes your shot look better to the other people watching for example a Montage on Youtube.

The problem with the M1 Grand is that it fires at a semi auto pace which means you have a better chance of killing someone because you are spraying.

So lemme get this right, giving yourself the least chance of accurately killing someone is better? Bullshit, I prefer a method I can use.

Barrett .50 cal + normal scope = no spraying + headshots

I hate the M21 so I use the 50 cal, not a bolt-action rifle shooting randomly off into the distance where an enemy appears to be. Sorry folks, I just think that actually using something for what it's meant for is the best use.

well the noobs bshould zoom in to practice a bit

but once you start getting better, you should not scope or zoom at all

Debating is acting immature now? Cool.
And no, it hardly gives you a better chance at all. If anything, it makes it worse because the weapon will keep going up and up and up if you just keep tapping the button. It's just stupid and I see no reason for it not to be allowed if it has a Sniper Scope.

This is my way of looking at it

Other then when your making a montage or something for youtube who's gonna care what method you use to no scope? If zooming in just enough that the crosshairs come closer works for you do it. Playing video games has become more of a "let me impress people" then a "let me have fun with this game"

I no-scope in matches when I feel like it not because I want to make people think im cool.

So use any method you want with no scoping

No scope matches are meant to show skill, and by using a semi shows nothing, after experimenting with the garand, the accuracy is soooo much better than a bolt action with a scope. and i think scoping a little without looking through the lens is okay as long as you didnt set the shot up before, this debate seems one sided with the exception of like 2 people

First of all you MUST have a scope on a BOLT ACTION rifle, and you must not be able to see through the scope at all, there are different shots the G shot (much harder on cod waw then cod 4) the twitch shot (main shot on cod waw) and the moving shot (pretty good) then there is the shot that takes aim, the half scope which i consider a no scope, you scope in half way just enough to see the cross hairs move in a little, so that you cant see through the actual scope then take your shot, i think that should be considered a no scope because you dont actually have a perfect shot on the target like while scoping.

exact perfect definition.

As does for example using the garand not show skill so does scoping in "somewhat" if your trying to show skill scoping in isnt the best way to do it imo.
