Ok so this is a response to Wintys thread on why you should get a PS3..

Xbox gives you a FREE headset when you buy your console, does the Playstation 3? no, and Bluetooth headsets can sometimes be annoying e.g., you can lose them very easily you end up having to charge them every single day which can be frustrating, also how many times can you hear somebody echoing on PSN? or even hear their whole family talking because they have a cheep headset, yeah all the time.

Sorry but you cant say about the BluRay, being a =! for the PS3, and then in the same post say, "I just want to game on my system", dosen't having the ability to play BluRay's add "Extra crap" to your system?

This thread is about reasons to buy the xbox itself and not live. I do not disagree that xbox live is good infact it is very good, but the system itself is trash.

Hmm i think the system itself eg the way it was built was very bad indeed but then with all of it Exclusives and extras its very very good and that's what makes people buy it

I also own an xbox. I agree that its exclusives are pretty good e.g Gears of war but it doesnt have many. Sure it has Left for Dead and halo but lets face it, they suck. If i am forgetting any 360 exclusives the i apologize. Then you have PS3 exclusives Uncharted, Resistance, God of War, Mortorstorm and a new max payne. All of these games are very good compared to the 360 exclusives. In my opinion the only good exclusives are Gears of war and deadrising but Deadrising 2 will be on PS3. Now for the consoles. The Xbox is quite ugly in my opinion, It has a large power block which just gets in the way, the 360 can be heard from space and it also dies at the age of 1. The ps3 is quite nice looking, it has no stupid power block, it cant be heard from space but a mile away perhaps and it doesn't die at the age of 1 and every year shortly after its birthday. I have owned the Xbox about 7 months longer than the ps3 but the xbox has died twice, the ps3 is still alive. In conclusion i believe they are both very good online , Xbox being the superior perhaps but in terms of exclusives and how good the system is i think ps3 is champion

Sure, that must be why Halo is one of the most popular franchises. Halo Reach is (one of) the most anticipated games this year, and it has sold over 20 million copies total.
