Religion is not a piece of crap. Religion's purpose is not to be taken literally. People can take what they want out of religion. Some people use religion to help them out of tough times and some use it as a means to keep there morals. Religion can be a very positive thing despite the holes in the stories. Hope and faith comes out of religion and without hope and faith, people would just crumble when there is a problem.

The problem of religion are the extremist. These idiots take the stories of God literally and this is what causes war and chaos. If people are just not complete retards that like to kill each other, Religion could be a really positive thing.

See, an example of a person being ignorant. There are many religions that exist but you choose to attack the one that has the most holes in it. The bible, Jesus helps his "neighbors" but all people get from the bible is how people can't exist because Cain and Abel are men.....

The thing people need to learn is to take the positives from the religion you choose and that is where you will benefit.

im sorry i have this view and please dont call me ignorant. why would god ley scum rule his church. in ireland before the 90s, many children were put into church care as the church basically ruled ireland, and many children were beaten, raped and tramatised (including my mam, dad, aunties, uncles), so dont call me ignorant if a man who supposed to love every single living creature let the scum tramatise the innocent and the sickening thing is, they tried to cover it up.

I have no problems with religions like Buddhism, which is more of a way of life than a religion. My issue is with these ****ers who seem to think that blowing up the world is a good idea.

Ok, ok, I know you're going to say let's not judge a religion by it's extremists. So, I've already though of something else. What about these people who are trying to stop things like stem cell research. These people are not considered extremists, yet they're just as much of a threat to human life as any shoe bomber. Stem Cell could do so much for the human race, yet these people insist on ****ing it up for the rest of us. If these people don't want to live, feel free to curl up in a corner and die while the rest of us get cured.

Those are the extremes of religion. Do you think a man that takes up prayer when a love one dies are the same as a corrupt church?

I myself am not a religion man in anyway. People always say why would god do this or that....If God interfered in every aspect of life, what's the point of living if you know that God will watch your back at every corner you turn.

As for you being ignorant, I'm talking bout that comment, bout paying to see a wizard.

Oh one more thing. Just because a person says they believe in God, doesnt make them religious. A person that doesn't believe in God can still be very religious.
