What this does: creates an optical illusion that you have a high amount of subscribers. therefore, when a user visits your channel, it will basically tell the person, "hey this guy has 50,000 subscribers, his videos have to be good, i'll subscribe." You will understand more as you read.


Steps:

Start by editing your channel. here's what you want to do.
to make the process easy to follow, start by un-checking everything shown below.

now download my youtube template, or make your own. (this can also a great tool to help you make awesome youtube backgrounds)

once you have that downloaded, open it up with photoshop. now all you have to do is simply edit the number which is already there. Change it to however many youtube "subscribers" you desire.

For example: I originally had 725 subscribers, then I did this and now I have 18,725 subscribers.

Once you have it ready, save the template as a .JPG and make sure it saves under 256K or youtube won't load it:

Next, go to youtube, go to edit your channel theme, then click advanced settings, upload your layout.JPG file, then turn the wrapper transparency and palette transparency both to 100%. it basically makes your layout the background. as you can see, it appears as if I have 18,000 subs. and as more people subscribe, the number will increase and still look legit, because the only thing photoshopped is the 18, infront of the actual number.

you can change the number to whatever you want, however its better if it looks legit.

the background isn't showing up for me. when you upload the picture, wait and see if the background actually shows up in the preview. it takes a couple of tries for it to show. once it shows up in the preview save it.
