Tritton AXPRO
or
Astro A40.
A40's are expensive.
Can anyone give me pros and cons?

Wait...what?
The way it goes up, in my opinion is:

Rubbish mic - not a headset
Turtle Beach PX21 (Any for xBox)
Tritton AX720
Astro A40

In my opinion, if you are going for a good headset, any of the top 3 are decent. The Tritton AX720's are great, and so are the Astro A40's, the only difference is that the Astro's have clearer sound and are a more famous brand.

If I'm being honest, I don't consider them too much.

From what I have heard (I may be wrong mind you) but the extra 40$ or so you spend isn't justified as much as say, the leap from Turtle Beach to Tritton.

I guess it's down to personal choice.

If you're actually in a pro team, I guess Astros would do great.
If not, personally I'd go for the AX720's.

That said, I guess the AX Pro's are decent, but I just don't know. They just aren't suited to me as much as the AX720's are.

I don't get why people spend $100-250 on headsets so they can do a little better at a game. :/

I am buying the AX 720's after weeks of research. I mean you are only getting a bit better quality with the Astros with the mix amp, but you have to pay a lot more money.

Also the Pros are only a bit better then the 720's and you save money if you buy the 720's, which are still 5.1 dolby digital surround sound, and most people feel are the best quality for their price, like you will not find another headset that performs to its price.

Sure all headsets have their flaws, but I feel the 720's are awesome from what I have researched.

By the way when I say AX 720's I mean the Tritton AX 720's.

But if you want to not go with my suggesting then I say go within your price range I mean the Astros are obviously the better headset, but with the mix amp and such they are way more costly, so if you are willing to spend say 300-500 $ then go with the Astro setup, but if you want a quality headset that performs to its price tag, then I say go with my suggesting on the 720's.

Well not only does it give you 5.1 surround sound so you can pin point where your enemy is coming from but it brings a whole new experience to gaming, it is like you are in the war in real life.

I mean have you ever used a good quality headset with surround sound? Not only will it improve your gaming and help make you a better player, but it improves your whole experience, I mean if I am going to be playing this game for at least 1 year, and playing it tons, why would you not want to get the most out of it?

I see some people buying huge high definition tvs just to enhance their gaming experience.

So if money's no obligation then get the A40s?
So from best to worst (Not including prices):

A40

Yes your list is correct from best to worst (not including prices).

Tritton AX 720's:

The good: Discrete 5.1 surround-sound headphones; supports headset chatting; easy to use; detachable microphone; compatible with most PCs, gaming consoles, and any device with an optical audio output.

The bad: Included 3-foot optical cable and USB cable won't get you far; heavy headphones; doesn't work with the Wii; bass response isn't great.

But yes Astro A40's with say the mix amp setup is the best out of all 4.
