oh im not hatin on ice cube, he's from NWA and that was the shit.
but when soulja boy hit the records i knew that good rap had just about died. thank god for the old school rappers to still make records.

Yup ice cube was the most successful of them all and got better when he went solo but then dr dre is pretty successful then it yella since he no longer raps just directs porn and ren is unknown and eazys dead

Damn, that's a really bad list. Eminem is lyrical talent, but his new album is a pop album.
Big L is without a doubt the most talent rapper to ever grasp a mic, If he was never shot dead in 99' he would be the largest rapper today. He would be where Jay-z is right now, just not a sellout.
