Apples Ipad currently has complete market dominance in the tablet industry. It has been rumored for months, that other companies would try join in, in the tablet race, to try and juice some money out of what is still a young product.
One such company is Samsung, they have recently announced there answer to Apples Ipad, The Galaxy tab, an Android powered tablet device. It is supposed to have it's grand unveiling in Berlin (Germany) Thursday, September 2. The teaser trailer shows us a few key features to the device, Such as: A 7 Inch screen, HD video playback, GPS, Augmented reality, E-reader technology, A Video call function, Full internet browsing, A camera, Flash support and Video conferencing.
It will be intriguing to see what other functions it has, It will also be interesting to see how well it does and how Apple react to Samsungs Galaxy tab.
Personally, I can see this product doing OK a week or 2 after its release, because of it's added functionality and smaller size, compared to the Ipad. Then about 2 months after that, I can see Apple bringing out a new 2G Ipad, in 2 or 3 sizes, Killing off the galaxy tab.
