Buy a video game, play it, beat the game. Then put everything neatly back in the package and go back to the place of the purchase.(Walmarts work best for this)
Tell them the disc was scratched and unable to run on your system and that you want another copy. They'll swap it out for another copy of the same game.

Take this new unopened copy to the other walmart and tell them it was a gift and you'd like to return it. You'll get full price back for the game you just beat !

Surely for some people though it could take around a week to beat, they would still accept this? not unless you just say you have been busy and not had a chance to play the game

well when i had my xbox the day i got it on christmas of a few years ago it fell on me twice so i took one game back to walmart at a time unknowing where it was bought and told em i got it like this they gave me a new one i did this twice and there i got my 2 games back now im banned from xbox =D

You would need to go to a different Walmart the second time. But lol that's a great idea
