(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hurricane Earl- Category 4- 145 MPH winds

So there was another thread asking if schools had been closed down due to this hurricane, and that worries me.. So here i am posting this thread hoping to educate the NGU community about hurricanes. The way i see it, hurricanes are not something fun to get you out of school.

Here are the basics about the Hurricane as of now (no one really knows what its going to do when it hits the warm waters of the east coast-Hurricanes life source is warm water..like throwing fuel on a fire.)

Now i'm sure alot of you are saying "well it will stay off coast" But the sure mass of the storm insures its bands are going to pelt our coast. (if the coarse doesn't change) Im praying it will stay on coarse and not come even closer to the coast.

Hurricane Katrina is the biggest storm to make land fall on the US in the past 100 years. Katrina was a category 3, Earl is a category 4 (shakes on my boots)

For those who don't know the power of a hurricane here are some pictures of a storm smaller than that of Earl

Hurricane Katrina-Category 3- Year 2005

I know this sounds horrible, but I would love it if your house has no roof on Saturday. The irony would be amazing Happy
