Yea if you turn 15 before the school year starts THEN you'd be a sophmore, if not you're supposed to be a freshman. It doesn't all depend on age, it's more about your birthday. I'm 16 and I'm a sophmore. I'm right in the middle of everyone in my grade. I know some people who turn 16 in January and I know some people who turn 17 in May.

My sister was born 9/16/92 and she's in Grade 11. OFKENRLLEH, as long as you were born that year, you're in.

Maybe where you live. Parents are allowed to choose when you send their child to Kindergarten if they have a "middle" birthday. Like June-September parents can choose or whatever. It all depends on what your parents do. So he could be in either, but most likely he'd be in 9th grade. He'd either be a really young 10th grader or a slightly older 9th grader.

actually If your Bday is in the month of september they dont put you down a year, my bday is mostly on the first day of school. Sometimes before sometimes after, I've always been the youngest in my class but ill be graduating at 17 Happy

Again it all depends what your parents do. You aren't "normal". Normally you'd be in the grade below you but your parents chose otherwise.
