Post: Math graphs.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, i have this unit on graphs, lines slopes and stuff. I havent done a single homework yet, and i have no idea what to do.

The questions are all based on like cartesian grids, midpoints of lines, medians, "right bisectors", 'vertexes", y=mx+b. I totally don't get this.

If anyone has any good websites with answers, or just knows the answer, please post Smile

ive gone through that chapter and got most of it,

what exactly do you need help with?

well, i don't understand the whole thing, like how to find the right bisector and the midpoints, and what exactly they are for lol

i kno, i'll try to listen to my math teacher 2morrow, which is extremely boring

The midpoint of a line is easy. You take the two co-ords. For this example lets say 5,2 and -1,6. You would take the differences between the X and Y axis in the points. In this case on the X axis 5 - (-1) is 6 and 2 - 6 is -4. Our new numbers are 6,-4. Just take those numbers and cut them in half now and the mid point would be 3,-2.

Need help just PM me. Me > Math

There is actually a midpoint formula so when you deal with fractions and stuff it actually works. That's just a quick shortcut I wouldn't recommend. It's hard to type in here so just search midpt. formula and if you still need help ask me. I did that in 8th grade lol.

Or to find b you can use point slope formula which is y-y1= m(x-x1)

Also midpoint is

x2-x1 ; y2-y1
....2.......2

If you need help with perpendicular bisectors and medians and all that other stuff than maybe ask a particular question.
