Wales' women under-19 team celebrated the most convincing victory in Welsh international football history as they beat Georgia 21-0 in a Uefa qualifier.

Megan Wynne opened the floodgates in Slovenia before Liverpool striker Emily Brown fired five and club-mate Hannah Keryakoplis scored four in the rout

Josie Green completed a hat-trick while Wynne, Jasmin Dutton and Nia Jones scored two in their opening qualifier.

Dutton also missed a penalty as Ellis Parsons and Rachel Rowe hit the bar.

Welsh women's football seems to be enjoying a goal-fest lately as the senior team beat Azerbaijan 15-0 in a World Cup qualifier in Newtown in August - inspired by six goals from Chelsea striker Helen Lander.

Wales' youngsters, buoyed by Saturday's convincing thrashing of Georgia, face hosts Slovenia next on Monday before playing France in their final 2011 Uefa women's under-19 championship qualifier on Thursday.

Doesn't seem very convincing though really I mean the quality of women's football is awful and the England team are bad enough let alone Wales, you might have even thought that the no-doubt manly Georgian team would be able to win.
