Forte is a good flex option, not much outside of that so far. I mean unless you want to depend on him putting up the receiving yards like last game (which he won't) he hasn't been able to pick up yards on the ground since he rookie year.
If you don't play in a league with a flex, you're set throughout as long as you have capable players at other positions. Going to be tough to top the production those 2 are going to put out every game. Now that is said, no offense if Foster wasn't drafted and you were able to get him out of the FA your friends don't have much knowledge. In my league I play in I knew I had to snatch Foster up early as more then a few were gunning for him.
I'm feeling pretty good about the 2 leagues I'm playing in, I figure to be sailing to the finish line in both. Only question mark I have right now is Kevin Kolb, if he can get healthy and figure it out I'll be good. Eventually, I think he does and I won't have to depend heavily on 2 WRs and my 3 RBs to carry me.

Don't count on Kolb, I'm an lifetime eagles fan, but ive never like him and always thought vick or McNabb have been a better fit for the eagles offense. IMO vick will get the start the next few weeks while Kolb out, earn his keep, and get the start when Kolb gets back.
and my team is,
QB:romo/brees
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Steve Smith (NYG)
WR: DeSean Jackson
RB: Chris Johnson
RB: Matt Forte
TE: Jason Witeen
K: David Akers
Def: NYJ
BN: SF DEF
BN: Vincent Jackson (just dont wanna drop him
BN: Drew Brees
BN: Tony Gonzalez (ATL TE)
BN: Arian Foster
BN: Santana Moss (picked up as a FA)

Kolb is actually the best QB for the offense they run. WCO is based of short precise routes and quick releases which is supposed to be Kolb's strengths. I'm not sold on the top 2 WR's being the right WR's for this offense.
Anyway, I would start Foster over Forte until one proves otherwise. I would have to think Foster is going make you regret not starting him more then Forte would. Even after this last game teams still aren't going to stack the line to stop the run game. I'd also think holding onto Jackson is the best option, especially after it didn't look like Malcom Floyd can shoulder the load.

yeah i plan on starting foster and keeping Jackson. Eagles really need a QB that can keep the play alive so the WR's can get open, like vick and McNabb could/can do. Kolb had hardly any production in the half he played, then in the half vick played they put up 20 points. I mean did you see vick running with the ball. The flashbacks were comming.

You can't really tell by what Kolb has done in one half (some of which he played with a concussion) but like I said the top 2 WRs they have on this team really don't play into the strengths of what Kolb does. Also, unlike half the Eagles fans I'm not ready to anoint Vick as a reborn capable passer in the NFL. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.
