I'm needing a bit of help with this essay I need to write for homework.
Just wondering if anybody wants to help me and be 250k vBux richer?
It needs to be from 500-800 words, and it starts like this:

"Why did I bother?" thought Alex to himself as he trudged out frin school one cold October evening. Having promised to help out at the Halloween school dance, he had been roped into decorating the hall in preparation. Never wanting to carve another pumpkin again, Alex grumbled to himself as it started to drizzle with rain. Hearing a noise behind him, he turned round, assuming it was one of his friends coming out of the school hall, but there was no-one there!
Shaking his head, assuming it was the noises of the rain playing tricks on him, he started off home. A minute later he heard the noise again. Still seeing nothing he decided it couldn't do any harm to jog home. As he ran round the next corner he ran straight into what was making that horrible noise. It was...
