"Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music. Its overall sound has been described as "tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals"

I've been following the dubstep scene for about a year now. I've been to the gigs, the festivals, and I've even made a few of my own tunes. I'll try and post some new tunes that I find here each night, hopefully that you haven't heard before.

Hopefully they'll be on YouTube already, if not, I'll link you to a stream. To download, simply use a YouTube to MP3 converter.

If you're someone that gets their taste in music from UKFDubstep, and puts Mt.Eden remixes in their quick scoping montages, I hope this thread opens your eyes to some proper dubstep.

Here are some artists to check out:

Caspa
Rusko
Benga
Artwork
Skream
Magnetic Man
Doctor P

Flux Pavillion

He's done one song, and that's it. Sure, it's pretty good, but it's really over-played, and everyone seems to know it now.

This thread lacks Burial. I know his style is different, but he shouldn't be overlooked.

This is why we need a limit on font sizes when compared to the length of a post...

Anyway, I have over 780 songs/mixes (9.19GB - 3 days, 5 hours, 51 minutes) if anyone wants them.
