In order to avoid the code having its normal effect, people often insert an asterisk or underscore in the code. This is unnecessary thanks to a code known as NoParse.

If you wrap the BBCode [NOPARSE*][/NOPARSE*] around any other codes, the actual code itself will be displayed. When you use it, remove the asterisks (ironically, I can't display NoParse any other way).
