My freshman year was awesome. Everybody says "the freshmen get picked on" and stuff like that, it wasn't true for me. I played 2 sports too, so the upperclassmen don't bother you.

Mine is going great so far. And, Luke is right about not getting picked on. Especially, if you play a sport. I'm playing varsity soccer so now I have a bunch of older guys watching my back. High school is way better than middle (junior high). You have lots of freedom.

I didn't like my first year in school, having English as my second language still cripples me especially in English essays, the lack of English vocabulary made me struggle during my first year. Over the time I improved it by reading books, forums and learning the internetz language. As you read this you'll probably wondering, what the hell is this guy is talking about? I'm still improving my English so please forgive my grammar and spelling errors when you are reading any of my posts here in NGU.

By the way, anyone of you know good books that I can read? I prefer books that has a lot of imagery in it.

It was actually pretty awesome, I ended up hanging with the seniors for awhile and then i sorta became better friends with people in my year more and then hung out with them worked out pretty sweet..

It was alright, but there's always a couple seniors and teachers that ALWAYS hate freshman

I never got picked on once, being on the wrestling team helped with that
