I'm against it.. Only good gun control is education on how to use a gun properly. Under gun control a chick has one thing of mace, vs 6 attackers. With proper training and gun, she has the possibility of 6 dead attackers.

Honestly when I turn 21 next year, I'm getting my pistol and my ccw, cause of how close I live to flint and Detroit and the fact that I will most likely be working in flint. When I get my own apartment I'm getting my 12 gauge with 00 ammo.

Think about it, someone breaks into your home your bat only has a certain range.. that gun, can probably cover any range in your home.

you really dont need guns in the citys.. thers no bears lions tigers ect in the middle of new york

if you got rid of guns there would be severely less murders, gang fights ect

then cops dont need guns (except special units like swat)

in the UK thers 4 types of people that have guns

#1 extremely large scale drug gangs that sell guns to youth gangs
#2 farmers/country side pest control (foxs badgers ect)
#3 elite special police units
#4 armed forces

in comparison thers more gun crime in the US in 1 day than there is in the UK 2 years

^ A criminal is always going to find a way to acquire a weapon illegally, even if it was under strict control it would leave the criminals running around with guns and the law abiding citizens at risk.

Look at the crime statistics in Florida since concealed carry has been legalized. You're not going to rob that granny if you fear she'll pull a 9 on you.

Plus, they'll be needed for the zombie apocalypse and general defense.

To be perfectly honest I'm against it because as someone said, anyone content on doing something terrible will get it done one way or another. At least this way you'd have some self-defense.

The UK has a violent crime rate that is nearly 5 times that in the US.
Canada has a rate double the US.
I wonder if gun control has any role in that statisic?

If you think gun control or banning reduces violent crime you should look into the crime rate in Australia since they did their gun ban 5 years ago.
