Post: Why wont my firefox remember passwords

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My firefox wont remember passwords for sites ect. was working fine other day. Ive checked the settings and remember passwords is on. Any help

like the passwords you had stored before aren't there or when you type one in now it doesn't stay???

if yes to the first part sounds like you deleted your cookies..

Everytime i close firefox and open it back up i need to put my email / user name and password back to to sign in

hmm if it's for NGU are you making sure to hit the 'remember me' button before signing in?

Yea its for every site & yea i click remember me

well I know certain sites don't allow you to save your info like that.

try this and see if it may be the problem


Firefox's Clear Private Data feature may be set to clear your passwords when you close Firefox. Make sure that Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" is unchecked, or that under Settings, "Saved Passwords" is not checked.
