This is just a quick warning message to all of you Steam users. There’s a new hijacking website floating around. The “hacker” gives you link to a website (nothing out of ordinary) but the problem is that when you click on it your Steam client will shut down immediately and you won’t we able to login to your Steam account from now on.

Yes, we realise that if your e-mail is verified on Steam the “hacker” won’t be able to change the password but still he/she can get your VAC Banned and if you have loads of games it wouldn’t be very pleasant, would it?

You may think that “mehhh I don’t click links from strangers anyway” but that’s the problem, the new “hacker” takes over your friend’s Steam account and pretends to be your friend just so you could click the link – I know I would click on some random tinyurl.com link from my friends.

So yeah, be careful out there. I wonder what’s Valve going to do about it.

Source : Unkown :O If you want it, then tell me, might take a while because my browser restarted therefore deleting my history.
