The british parliament thought that king charles the 1st was arogent and wasn't anygood at being good at running a country. The parliament wasted him off the throne, but charles said no. So the parliament got soldiers together to force him off the throne. All people that thought the king should stay took their side and oliver cromwell's the other they fought for ages then the kings followers where beaten and the british monarchary was destoyed for 11 years. King charles was be headed for high treason (how stupid)

11 YRs l8r his son took the throne back as the people liked him and oliver cromwell died and his son wouldn't take post of running the country
