I could argue it's the circle of life. We're just VERY organised predators.
You say that yet if I went along and chopped the head off of a cow in the street people would call me insane. People would yell, people would be generally maddened by what they saw. Yet they don't mind eating a McBurger(or whatever they're called lol).

What I don't agree with is the way a lot of them have been treated before being slaughtered. Most slaughtering is humane, but a lot is still cruel.
Calling slaughtering humane is like calling prostitution flirting.

In order to tackle this, it's not to become vegetarians, because that wouldn't make the slightest difference to the people slaughtering the animals
Yes it would. The only reason nothing's happening is because so many people are just saying "Meh! Won't make a difference!". As long as there are consumers willing to buy the stuff, they'll keep right on doing it.

purchase free range meats and eggs, and everything else under the catagory.
Horrifyingly enough, free-range was a topic on Watchdog not long ago. Apparently you can't always trust the label.

The most annoying vegetarians in my opinion are those who don't eat meat because of the way the animals are treated. How are they going to notice that it's because of the way they're treating the animals?
The argument is centered around the animals suffering, not us feeling sick eating them.

If not well...I guess you and other vegetarians will have to get used to the horrible slaughterings of animals.
Wow. You're totally missing the point. Murdering them is wrong
full stop.
