So can we organise something big to kick start it up again?

Ideas:

>> Free lobbies for premium members
>> More youtube videos
>> More advertisements (google ad-words...etc.)
>> Asking members currently on the site to stay more active and tell them there will be more activities happening like communal sniper lobbies...etc.

And there is tons and tons more!

Once BO hits the market the site will probably see another surge of new accounts looking for hacks/exploits similar to the ones found in MW2.

When BO's comes out there will be more activity on guides and discussion.
Most are bored with MW2, except for CL's

If you're on NGU at about 5 PM EST there's usually about 400-500 members on daily. before the malware incident there was 500-900 new members registering everyday. Which does not sound very dead to me.

Nonetheless, it's just at this time Mw2 is coming to a end and there's not much incentive come to this forum besides challenge lobbies. I expect there to be a HUGE influx of new members coming to this forum when Black Ops comes out. Just like when mw2 was released.

^^ That. I find it hard to believe a forum still gaining a few hundred members daily (at the very least) is dying.

NGU is not dying it's just getting rid of bad members

NGU will never die unless they stop making video games.

There are just more people wanting a free mw2 CL now, thats why we have so many people who have joined and the only posts they have are in those sections. But we still have many active members.

They'll pick back up when BO comes out
