Some said that it will transport you somewhere very far from our galaxy or it can be both, according to physics when a human travels in a speed of light he will be compressed as tiny as a matchstick. This means that if you travel in a speed of light, you also time travel. If you're planning to time travel, try making a spaceship that can travel as fast as the speed of light.Einstein said it is impossible because it's against the law of physics. I got this info from the internet and some of my physics teacher so don't flame if you don't agree.

I don't know if you watched the Bermuda Triangle Exposed, but it shows that this guy was in a plane and he was hours away from landing in Las Angeles, but when he went through this sort of tonardo or something, and he ended up in Las Angeles in less than a minute, they said that there could be a substance that is faster than the speed of light.

Brilliant videos. Had to watch it twice to get my head around it, But it makes so much sense :y:

Watch those 2 videos and you'll be mind****ed. It explains how our universe is only one of an infinite amount of universes :wtf:

Yeah, Getting your head around infinity is hard. There's so many possibilities & things that you can do.
This explains how our universe is never ending in a place of infinity universes.

So to actually get your head around it in mathematical terms. Here's some maths for you.

If I refer to Average Speed here, It is 55MPH.

To Circumnavigate the Earth at the average speed would take 19 Days.
To circumnavigate the Milky Way Galaxy at the average speed it would take 1,399,106,711,477,702 Days. (That's 1.3 Quadrillion Days)

There are around 125,000,000,000 Galaxies (Est.)We are taking a closer number like 80,000,000,000 to calculate with.

The Sun is 332,000 times bigger than the Earth.
So If the Earth took 3 days, Theoretically, The Sun should of taken 998,700 (Est.)
Taking the Sun as an averaged sized star (This is way off as there are stars 300,000 times bigger than the Sun, So this is a rough estimate) And there is around 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (50 Sextillion) stars.

Our universe is also expanding faster than the speed of light. So the amount of Galaxies and Stars created by the time you have read this is quite extraordinary.

What is even harder to understand is that this all started from an atom or sub atomic particle.

and all of that is only in one direction and not as far as possible as that direction goes making us believe space is endless which it is probably that is why there has to be other forms of life out there some where in the trillions of solar systems

Interesting terminology, the whole thing is just beyond comprehension. Sometimes i think why is there anything at all? How was the first atom created? How and why is there any space at all for things to be created? Why is space seemingly infinate? And to flip it, why isn't there just nothing at all, not even space? It's crazy when you begin to think deeply about it, i'm not suprised at all mathematicians have gone mental over this.

One question that is more mind-boggling than the origin of the universe is Why.
Why is there all of this?
But one thing I can half-explain, Is the first atom.
I wrote these by the way.

This could of been how the universe was created.
This started on what Lawrence Krauss said.

Maths and Physics just can't explain why there is all of this and never will be able to.
It's also very hard to understand that we will never be able to know.
Space is infinite because the force of the big bang is ongoing and galaxies and planets are being created now. So in 10 Billion years, A planet created right now could be like our planet.
There are so many questions people can ask.
Not all of them have scientific explanations.

This is what I want to spend the rest of my life doing.

Brilliant thread.
I'm really liking it, Thanks.

Nice, i like the way you think. I'm trying to concentrate but your sig keeps making me laugh.

I watched a Steven Hawkings documentary a few weeks ago and at one point he said that eventually, there will be nothing at all. Everything in the universe will lose its energy etc. I find this hard to believe, i mean if say the universe was created from one atom, what's to say if the universe did become nothing that a new atom wouldn't form and the whole process starts again, maybe this has happened before and will continue to do so for infinity?

Sig = Awesome Happy

There could be hundreds of "Big Bangs" happening now. Making new universes and others could be collapsing in on itself.
So this means, There are infinity universes which could possibly infinitive in size.
This is starting to get interesting. Working with infinity is very fun.

There could be, and this raises the question because space is constantly expanding at an extreme speed for infinity, is it likely that space expands into another? Crashing or blending in if you like? What would this look like?

Could there be a place where mass is infinate in size? Imagine that!
