My thanks goes out to EVERYONE who has served or is currently serving. I mean EVERYONE, from the guys on the front lines to the new recruits shining their Sergeant's boots. To sign your life over for a certain amount of years is a very brave, slightly stupid and awesomely unselfish thing to do. I dislike how members of our Armed Forces are only truly remembered on 10/11 and even then some people still couldn't give two shits about our current and historical soldiers/veterans. Here's a toast to remembering our soldiers and supporting our troops on days besides 10/11.
Here's my update from Facebook(I thought of this, if you like it feel free to use post as your status.) :
"Do most people even give a shit about our soldiers? Who here is thankful for the troops all year round and not just November 11? Freedom is more than a word, it's your ability to express yourself, your thoughts and your opinions(including your hatred for your own country). Remember those who have served and those who are still serving our country and doing a damned good job of it."
