The U.S is obligated to join wars of our allies. Its called "N.A.T.O"
Also, do you really think that MOST of our allies would have had nearly as well as results that they would have had without our help. Im trying my best not to be biased, but I truly think this.

Personally I think the UK is superior to any army.
UK has the best air, land and navy. We fought off the Nazis at the height of their power and with much fewer resources. We also havent been invaded since 1066.
Yeah some armys may be technologically better but it depends who is holding that gun, which relates to the UK having IMO the best training standard, also the UK is and always will be the country to beat.
Another reason is that we have the SAS, probably the best specialised service there is, lightyears ahead of CIA, Spetsnaz etc. Every country in the world would love to boast of having the SAS, but they cant. I remember reading something a while ago about the SAS even training the US Forces in Iraq/Afghanistan!
IMO We WOULD kick anyone's arse regardless of size, technology or money!

I never said the US was not a good army, but they do get a bit big headed when they come into a war near the end. And then say that the war hadnt of been won without them.
Now this may be entirely wrong, but with the 1 or 2 americans that i have discussed this with both thought of it in that way.
