I like FPS in space too, but why choose COD to accomplish a huge community and popularity for a space multiplayer FPS? I'm kind of a space geek but even I think this is a leap in the wrong direction for this franchise. Perhaps a different game, but not COD.

This title has some massive potential to do very well if they release it in correct manner. The past Call of Duty titles have came out in to much rapid succession of one another that it actual hurts its own chances at selling more games because of the small time frame between releases.

I think with the proper release date and the build up could soar sales for this game. The game will have the Call of Duty feel that a large fan base loves but may even steal a percentage of Halo players if they incorporate the right items with this game. With that also may come some losses from traditional Call of Duty players.

On the other side of the spectrum we could view this as a bad thing. The game may be too futuristic for this time in the series and needs to wait for another Modern Warfare maybe if there are still plans or if any on releasing this.

My best bet will be seeing a game to compete with the Call of Duty market in the next 1-3 years from the makers Infinity Ward with EA Games. They were the group that made the original Modern Warfare series but after the fallout with Activision you have to bet there is some bad blood there and they are just looking and waiting to produce a title that will directly compete with and take sales from Call of Duty and Activision.

Turning to halo maybe wtf.

Looks like i will be going back to playing sports and racing games only like i used to do o well Cod was fun while it lasted after Black Ops there will be nothing wroth buying with the name of COD

If there's gonna be a MW3, expect it to be announced on February 11. CoD 4 and MW2 were both announced on February 11.

Probably more like a Halo type or Gears of War game. :FU:
