(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey,

I was reading the newspaper today and was reading an article on David Beckham and his family. Well, I was shocked that his son's are becoming so American that they once said to him:

Now, of course there is nothing wrong with Americans, and I'm not saying that; i'm just saying that if it were me, i'd make sure my boys knew were they come from and respected that?. These boys have now grown up with American accents, style & lifestyle so coming back to the UK after there old enough to leave home looks very slim?.

Basically, i'm just sad to hear that Britain's King has not continued his legacy in the UK , but bought his kids up American. It's just sad for the British. :(

P.s. Also, again I want to say that there is NOTHING wrong with this & this is not intended offensively.

If they play football, it'll be America's only good football player :carling:

To be honest, who cares?

People up sticks and resettle all the time, its part of life. And most of the time when people resettle they generally take up the nationality of the country they're living in.

Also, there's no guarantee's Beckham's kids will turn out to be professional footballers. So there's no fear of them playing for the USA.

If they play, it would be called soccer & they would be made fun of. Soccer isn't a big sport around here- Football, Basketball & Baseball are big.

I don't get it though?, Football (Soccer) over here is MASSIVE!, bigger than all the other games you have mentioned combined. You would have thought that 2 nations so similar would have the same kind of things when it comes to sport?....

BITCHES LOVE CAKE
I agree with como, i dont see why anybody should care where Becks decides to bring his kids up. He's made a life for him and his family and they obviously love it enough in america to stay there. To be honest, i say good for him, for saying where he's come from when he first got spotted. But i see your point, if i was him i would always make sure they know their roots.

I loved it when he played for Man Utd and England, but now i think he's past it. But...... No one will ever be able to bend it like beckham Winky Winky
