Those who are a little over weight can find extra large clothing in "fatso" or "lardbucket" sizes =D. Their banks have machines for cash withdrawing and "cash recycling". The English speaking visitors get quite a smile off the "Chinglish" they use i myself find it quite funny also. The Chinese officials aren't so pleased with the amusement we get out of the signs, they are actually embarrassed over it. Zhao Huimin, director general of Beijing's Foreign Affairs Office said "The purpose of signage is to be useful, not to be amusing,"
The government has launched a campaign to become more user friendly for English speaking visitors with many Chinese students there learning the language. They have currently replaced over 10,000 signs with the help of 600 volunteers! This campaign was modeled after Beijing's campaign to change English signage for the 2008 Sumer Olympics. They changed a great 400,000 street signs and 1,300 restaurant menus!
