Yeah, only depending on what they are proved guilty for though, such as murder. Heard about a women who got sentenced to death for drug trafficking but didn't cos she was pregnant. In a way, she is committing murder by the fact she is transporting drugs in which at least one person will OD on, and she should know that, there for it's kind of planned, if you get me. I do think that the evidence needs to be more than usual sentencing for prison. For example, say for prison the evidence might be a gun, gun residue, fingerprints for them to be convicted. For death, it should be a lot more, such as their blood splatter, CCTV etc. This way you won't have the mistake of killing the wrong person as much.
