Trust me, you don not want to pick a fight with North Korea. The size of your Military equates to nothing with nuclear weapons in the equation.

China is with the North and the U.S. is with the South. China and the U.S. have worked together to make sure things get calmer. If anything, I doubt the U.S. will get involved, seeing as it would **** over our relations with China.

OT:
China side with the north but don't like what going on. Even if they don't say much the fact they are saying something means they don't like it.
All of the west are going to side with the south.

Important nations in this are US, china, japan, russia (maybe less so) and the rest of the EU.

If the north attacked the south and started a war.
Japan would most likely move it war ships closer to support them. This is bad news for many reasons.
Japan would get support from other asian nations to support the south. It unlikely china would support them but they would ask for nobody to scale up and make it worse.
US would give the south support like images from space. Not get close at first.
Nato are likely to get involed if japan are attacked or any of there ships are. The out cry would be soo much they would have too and the reason why. Your have a crisis in the east something which could spread......
So if the north attack japan or anybody supporting the south your get a crisis pulling more nations in.
Nato and the EU likely to then join in and support them.
US are likely to be the last nation to join in and put people on the group.

North does have issues if it started a war....first off it troops don't want a war. Alot of them don't want to fight.
Second Cyberwarfare am pretty sure the north would be screwed here.
Most of there cyber stuff would be taken offline within hours meaning blind troops.
Good example was the russian attacks on Georgia taking down stuff.

Another problem they face even if they use a nuke, they would need to be careful who gets it. Because if you hit the wrong nation your going to get alot of heat on you.
Using a nuke would mean nations may start a carpet bomb on them or worse case nuke them.

That said it very hard to guess how big the north power is and what they are using. Some people say it outdated stuff and the troops are not trained.
All i know is it that it would come down to who supported them.

No side wants war , north only doing this so it gets a better hand on the table for it nuclear stuff.
