Love Big Titty Bitches
NextGenUpdate receives a lot in donations. I've donated well over $100 to it myself. We donate to this site for a variety of reasons. We should all take the same dedicate and love we have for NGU and share a small portion of it to those less fortunate.
Some statistics to help put it in perspective:
- 80% of the world (5.15 billion humans) lives on less than $10.00 per day and almost 50% (3.14 Billion) live on less than $2.50 per day
- 27%-28% of all children in developing countries are underweight and/or stunted.
- Of the 2.2 billion children in the world, 1 billion live in poverty
- 10.6 million children in the world don't live to their 5th birthday, each year.
- Almost 1 billion people entered the 21st century unable to read or even sign their own name.
- Almost half of all people in developing countries are suffering, at any given time, with health issues caused by poor public sanitation and the unavailability of clean water.
- 1.6 billion people live without electricity.
So the question is, what can you do? Well you can get involved in the many organizations that offer relief and support to these folks.

There are tons of other charities, I just listed a few that come to mind. Get involved. Help out those less fortunate.
Edit - Users of NGU so far have donated $286 to the above charities. Combined with my $100 to St. Jude, we're at $384 total!

Meh, I am thankful for all that I have, but it all comes from the hard work of my parents. My mom graduated from Franklin High School(Jive you should come see it) it's one of the most ghetto schools in the city. She was one of the only white people in her classes. She graduated, went to college and now works for the county making a good amount(we're middle class). I know many minorities who have done similar to what my mom did. I don't mean to sound like a dick, but everyone is given the same opportunities. Everyone is capable of going to school for free here in the U.S. but many people take that for granted and don't fully appreciate it, thus resulting in making super minimum wage.
This, of course, is different for immigrants. But how I see it, if you were born and raised in the U.S., school is mandatory and free, hardwork and determination can get you out of the hood/ghetto.
It is unfortunate that we have people making so little, but it's a prime example of good life choices.

No, Christmas is pretty much THE biggest. Thanksgiving is like in the top 3 through, it's a time for family and fun.
This, of course, is different for immigrants. But how I see it, if you were born and raised in the U.S., school is mandatory and free, hardwork and determination can get you out of the hood/ghetto.

No, Christmas is pretty much THE biggest. Thanksgiving is like in the top 3 through, it's a time for family and fun.
