This, it's their choice if they want to aswell or if they don't want to not needing your opinion.... it also makes you look like a desperate poof, it's a bit like commentators for cod videos on youtube asking for likes on their videos.

IMHO yes, put some effort into good or helpful posts and you'll get your due rewards. Just look at my rep for proof =D

The funny thing is that moderators always get +repped, but they barely ever +rep a user because they know that user's rep will go up fast.
