First off, is a PS3 SixAxis DualShock 3 controller:

If you are wondering HOW I did this, I broke the PS3 controller by slamming it off a concrete floor several times (this is now full broken past R3), and I cracked the screen of my iPod Touch... Well, I'm not sure really, I suspect it got hit by an iceball at school though. Everything still works normally with it however, except it can feel a bit weird when playing apps, and become unresponsive at times (rarely happens)

Edit: Don't ask about the green triangle in the last picture.

I got bored ages ago with a pen and started drawing random things; I got a piece of paper and drew a triangle on it, along with other drawings, and it went through the paper onto the wood. But I did like stab the paper too.

Basically, it's about 2 yrs old and I drew it when I was bored :p.

Yeah, it can get glitchy at times and become unresponsive, but it rarely happens, so it's all good.

I don't need a new iPod yet. I might get a new one soon though; depending on how much cash I have for Xmas, I need a new phone, desktop (which is around £500), plus the new iPod Touch 4G 32GB is another £392... So, yeah...

It's because the second and first gen iPod have a layer of glass, then a motherboard type thing underneath, if you crack the screen, so long as if it is still connected to this motherboard, then it should still work.

I've got 7 smashed up smart phones (released after 2008'Winky Winky, a smashed up 42" plasma HD tv, a smashed up laptop, about 40 pairs of broken earphones, my PS3 controller & iPod, it's just that I ran out of room on my current phone, and it would take me about half an hour or so to take pictures of them. Then uploading would take about another half an hour...
