(CNN) -- Gunmen killed at least 10 people in two separate attacks in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Saturday, state media said.
A group of armed men ambushed a police car and killed four municipal officers inside, the state-run Notimex news agency reported.
The officers had no chance to draw their weapons to defend themselves, the local public safety secretary told Notimex. A child was among two wounded civilians caught in the crossfire, he said.
There are no suspects yet but authorities continue to look for leads, the agency said.
Six people at a local metal works shop were also killed Saturday when a group of gunmen burst into a barbecue there, Notimex reported.
Ciudad Juarez, Mexico's most violent city, shares a border with El Paso, Texas.
Nationwide, more than 28,000 people have died in drug violence since December 2006, when Mexican President Felipe Calderon took office and started his stepped-up campaign against organized crime.

MY OPINION: Personally I think this is outrageous. The violence against our border patrol needs to stop. They do everything they can to keep us safe and this is how they get treated.
I thank all the patrol for trying there best to keep us safe and keeping America safe.
