I came out of the bar in downtown Huntsville, Al.. walking up the steps to the parking garage this guy was yelling at this girl with two other guys around he raised his hand to hit her so i pushed him.. he tackled me i immediately put him into a choke hold restraining him thats when
two of his friends started kicking me in the head, back, and side all the meanwhile he was digging his fingers in my eyes.. i held on until i lost consciousness but heres the funny thing two of my friends were about 10 minutes behind me soon as they got up the stairs saw what was happening they ran towards the guys and they took off.. so they were more than willing to fight 3vs1 but not 3vs2.. let alone 1vs1.. whats happened to my generation.. (i'm 22) the majority of my generation is a bunch of pansies.. first the guy was gonna hit a girl then had to have his friends save him..
the end result: my friends were able to detain the guy who i wrapped up with while his friends go away, to my knowledge he was arrested (bc i have a case number i have to check with monday) the girl told her story siding with me.. the two pansies got away, i got 4 stitches on my head a little bit of a bruised ego but generally i feel great the girl got away alright
heres the other kicker i had my .40s&w on me, most people i know would have pulled it out to save an ass kicking.. but i'd rather take an ass kicking that go to jail any day of the week.. just saying

To me you just sound like the type of guy that would do what the OP stopped. "Snitches get stitches" is bullshit. If the OP didn't handle it with the cops, then the others could have, twisted the story and the OP gets banged up. Or the guys do it to a different girl, only the next time she's not so lucky. The reason why people do shit like that is because they get away with it. You should treat women with respect, not stand with 2 mates about to hit them. Or let them get hit. To me the OP doesn't want to be a hero, he just wants to do the right thing, in this case, stopping a girl getting hit. You should man up and take a leaf out of his book, rather than stand by and do nothing about it, only to watch the news and find out she's been killed. You say you would have the guts to kill someone if they had a gun and was about to use it on you. All well and said standing on the right side of the piece, but when you wouldn't help a women from getting hit, I find it hard to believe you'd actually pull the trigger.
As for the 1on1, I don't think they exist any more. Once I was doing a paper round, minding my own business and all of a sudden I get jumped by 4 guys for no reason. 4 on 1. I knew I didn't stand a chance, got hit a few times and fled. 1 on 1 though would have been a different story.

Ok well I myself have been shot before and the way I see it if my life is threatend and it comes down to me or the other guy living then its gonna be me. And I dont see what the flamings for, I have my opinion and you have yours. And its the way I grew up, in my neighborhood snitching got you nothing but trouble and possibly dying so I have my reasons for being the way I am. I apoligize for the way you took it, I honestly didnt mean it like that.

I wasn't trying to flame. Just that when you see a women about to get hit, you shouldn't just stand back and let it happen. The way you wrote sounded like you would just walk off. Not knowing your area, that could be a wise decision, and most likely the same here too, but I would at least try, if you get me.

not talking about v6miata. but the majority of todays youth are scared to knuckle up 1v1 cause there scared of alittle ass whoopin. the way i see it regardless of being knocked out and needing stiches you did the right thing and i commend you for doing so. most pussies now a days would have pulled out there gun for that same reason, cause there scared of a ass whoopin. bottom line is society needs more people like you! and less pussies. outstanding job!!!

The are pussies. This group of dicks jumped me and beat me to a pulp. After that I took them down one by one. Kicked the shit out of each one of them when they were on their own. They all moved homes so I am free to walk my street without having to look at every corner.
