YouTube Taking Off Video Time Limit

You must login or register to view this content.

As you know you can only upload a video that is 15 minutes long to YouTube unless you have a old Director account. Now YouTube will be scrapping the time limit all together for "selected users with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and our copyright rules," YouTube said in a blog post. (I have one strike on YouTube because I uploaded a video of the map Jungle before Black Ops came out so I guess I won't be offered this :()

YouTube said that one of the reasons they are taking the time limit off is because of their new "Content ID System". This tool allows YouTube to identify and remove copyrighted material faster and more efficiently.

If a user wants to upload a video that was previously rejected for being too long, he or she must go to the "My Videos" section and delete the old video before adding the longer version.

Looks like I'm slated to have my time limit removed then. =] Now if only I could get something to record gameplay, and actually have good gameplay on BO I'd be set.

I had an HD PVR but when I heard the news of "Theater Mode" I sold it to get money for my Iphone 4. Theater mode was a big disappointment, only 30 seconds /facepalm

This is great news for Youtube. I'm finally glad to hear that they will be doing away with it.

Hey man, here's some advice, & yes the thread is GREAT.

Use the default size for the whole body of the article.

What I do for the header is 5 Size, Bold, Centered, Underlined. Bold is optional.

Try and have the picture for the header at a reasonable size so it doesn't show the 'click here for original size picture'.

Winky Winky Hope I helped mate, great job!
