Angry Birds Cross Carrier Mobile Payment System

Do you have an iDevice or Android? Then I'm pretty sure out of the 50 million people who have downloaded Angry Birds, your one of them. Well I have some news for you Angry Birds junkies. A brand new payment plan will be introduced this infamous app.

Rovio has just announced that they will be launching a new system called "Bad Piggy Bank". What this does is instead of you having to go into the app store, put your information in, and buy it. The "Bad Piggy Bank" provides a "one touch payment" that will show up on your monthly phone bill.

This new payment plan will be launching some time in 2011.

"Rovio notes that participating members will receive a share of revenue from each purchase that is "much, much better for developers than current app store models."

I personally think they're doing this just to get all the potential money possible from people. So those who use jailbroken or hacked devices to get the app for free will either have to live an Angry Birds free life or pay the $0.99. Either way jailbroken or not, I'd still pay the $0.99 for this addicting app considering how many levels they give you and the constant updates.
