Post: Has anybody done GCSE I.T?

Basicly I wanna become a programmer when im older, but I dunno if GCSE I.T has what I think it has in it...

Could somebody please explain what subjects we do in it (like website design,hardware and maybe programming?)

yeah GCSE is just basic computing skills, like how to use the programs from microsoft office and thing of the such, and the rest is common sense really but if your looking into becoming a programmer i would advise you to do really well in maths and a-level maths and then look into Uni. Smile

Im looking at choosing my GSCE to
Now i think theres two
1.) Powerpoints, databases and so on
2.) You get a few options, more suited for you i think ?
im looking at doing it to and i think theres a diploma one or something, it counts as like 4 GSCE's. Ask your teacher

I live in Wales, and we are doing a course called DiDA, where there's a scenario online which gives you tasks to do similar to real-world situations. Most of the tasks involve simple skills such as word processing and making databases. It's, rather boring, but it's very simple.
