I would advise against watching news on TV. All they report is crap and it's usually biased towards the stuff the editors want to talk about.

I listen to am 640 KFI radio, they talk about real stuff and real issues, specially on the 3pm(pacific) show John and Ken. Check they're website out [url]www.kfiam640.com[/url].

Don't bother with TV news, pick up a paper. Make sure it's a paper who's editors aren't biased towards issues they like, such as the L.A. Times. You will get a lot more information on issues that really matter and should be known about.
