(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey all Cool Man (aka Tustin)

Well, as we all know, its Christmas soon. I've been egar to get my presents as is everyone else.
I was wanting Tritton AX720's but as it turns out I'm not getting them. I was hoping to stay away from Turtle Beach PX21's because they are known for breaking easily. I ask for help on what I should do below. We're a low-income family due to the reccession and all.

Basically, I was wanting Trittons. I had shows my mum what they were, how much their were etc. She was thinking about them, but as we're a pretty low income family, they were on the dear side. She never really said much about them to me.

Just yesterday my sister asked 'where are we putting some of the presents?' My mum replied with 'Upstairs with the ..OOOh nevermind'
That got me suspicious...

Today my mum was saying how some of the presents she ordered online had not arrived yet to a friend, she didn't state which ones. This aroused a lot of suspicion with me, so I deciced to check her browsing history.

I saw that she had ordered [ame=https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004322VEY/ref=oss_product]These[/ame] . I wasn't very happy to start with because according to the reviews, they are the same sound quality as Turtle Beach PX21s. TBPX21s are stereo, AX720s are Dolby Digital.
Dolby Digital is better than Stereo

But a while after, I realised that we were not made of money and she was only trying to please me as best she could. They are not exactly what I wanted, but their good.

What I was wondering was, should I tell her that I found what she bought me or should I keep it on the down-low and don't be so ungrateful?

If I did tell her, it would probably upset her because she tried and she just didn't have the money for the more dear headset. But I really don't want to upset her :(

Thanks,
~Toast

Well you kind of answered it yourself, your mom did the best that she could and she is trying to satisfy you. And it's really not worth making her upset on christmas because she was unable to get you exactly what you wanted.

Yeh man, it's not worth it to complain about it, if your mom tried really hard, just be appreciative. Think about this for a second, what about people that don't get the best headsets, its just a headset in the end. What's worth more to you, your mom's happiness w/ some good headset, or your mom pissed with no headset. Just be appreciative about it and maybe you will get your headset. The same thing happened to me but with a phone, my parents didn't buy me the phone I wanted but I didn't complain and the next thing I knew, I checked my email and I had won a choice of my phone. Just be appreciative and Happy Holidays Happy

As just about everyone else has said, be grateful for the fact she has got you something that you want, whether it is the exact model you would like or not. The point is she listened to you, and tried to please you as best she could, and to say "Oh well I wanted the other ones" would be a bit of a kick in the teeth Smile
