Hey NGU if your looking at this obviously your a Freshman or just wanted to see what this was about!
Well hello my name is Zack and im 15 and my freshman year is just getting over

[multipage=First Month Of HighSchool]
First of all you should definitely make good first impressions, especially on teachers. The impressions you make during the first week of school affect your entire high school career(believe it or not)...with most teachers, if they get it in their heads that you're a good student early you won half the battle. Be sure to be on time for every class during this short period of judgment( later on they will let you be a little late to their classes because they think that you are a good student). When all of your teachers hand you those syllabus papers to get signed, try to bring it back the next day, even if you don't have class that day because they will be surprised how neat and prepared you are .. In regards to your fellow classmates; be yourself, because most kids try to be cool and end up being a complete loser or wannabe to tell you the truth.
[multipage=Lunch Table]
Find a group of people to sit with at lunch as soon as possible. The lunch “break” that high-schoolers are allowed is, at first, one of the most stressful experiences of the beginning of the year because usually most of the people know each other and if you don't know people then your stuck at the "loser" table. If you spot some of your friends from sports teams or people that you know that have the same interests as you at a table, join in and talk to them. Be aware, though, that these seating arrangements are often permanent and you don't want to be at a "loser" or not "cool" table. [multipage=Going To Class]
Find someone who you can follow to class. If Ryan or Craig are in both your first and second periods, then they can help you find your way to your next class. High Schools are big and scary at first, but if your with a friend you can talk about something fun so you dont even pay attention to the bigger kids.
[multipage= Don't Leave Everything To The Last Minute]
Do not procrastinate. The sooner you get things done, the more time you will have to do the things you like to do. So if you know you have basketball all week after school and the project is due soon do the project over the weekend, so when you get home from basketball you dont have to work on something big. Because everyone knows when they get home from something tiring they just wanna lie down or play ps3.
[multipage=Make Friends!!]
Try to make some friends. If you see someone from one of your classes at lunch say something like, "I think you are in one of my classes right?" Add people on facebook and talk to them and get to know thim! You want to make people feel comfortable, without seeming like a stalker. If you don't smile and have a look on your face like you mad, people will think you are unapproachable and will be scared to talk to you. Join different clubs, like sports , and you will make alotta friends because you have the same interests! And don't be mean to people or try to start fights because girls might look at you differently and you dont want that!
[multipage=STUDY!]
Study! Many people find flashcards helpful studying tools. Flashcards are one of the most efficient ways of studying because by making them, you have already begun to study.Because if you do bad your FreshMan year it can and will mess up your overall GPA in your senior year! Writing down the questions and answers on note cards helps the information stick in your brain just long enough to take that big test or horrible midterm! If you don't like flashcards find a better way to help you!
[multipage=Be Organized!]
THIS IS A MUST FOR ALL HIGH SCHOOLERS! Be organized! This will save you tons of heartache and extra homework. Keep separate binders, folders, and so on for each class, and remember (however hard it is) to write down ALL your homework in a planner. This will help if you ever think your gonna be late to class because you will have everything together in your locker so you know that your good to go
[multipage=WRITE IT DOWN!]
You must write everything down in an agenda book !
Keep an agenda or to do list! If your forgetful, this will come in handy, BIG TIME! Anytime you get homework or a project, just scribble it in your agenda! Life will be a whole lot easier! BRING THIS HOME EVERY NIGHT INCASE YOU FORGET ABOUT YOUR HOMEWORK all you have to do is look in your agenda book!
[multipage=Do NOT give into peer pressure]
DO NOT IT WONT MAKE YOU ANY COOLER OR ANYTHING IT WILL HURT YOU IN THE END. Don't give into peer pressure. If someone tells you " Hey. Come here and try a cigarette," just ignore them and simply walk away. who cares what they call you! smoking is bad for your lungs. And it makes your teeth look nasty.
[multipage=HAVE FUN!]
LAST of all HAVE FUN ! this is your only freshman year of highschool so have fun and do well!
