What's worse than stealing game consoles from kids? Stealing game consoles from kids with cancer. Good thing the man responsible is now in police custody.
After being captured on surveillance videotape and having burglary, larceny after burglary, and damage to property warrants issued against him, Charlotte police captured Charles Everett Hinton, who aside from being a thief is also a convicted sex offender.

Police say Hinton broke into the Levine Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Center in Charlotte earlier this month and stole game consoles that were being used by patients in the pediatric cancer ward.
The patients aren't going to have a console-less Christmas, however, thanks to the actions of Anthony Calandra and Matt Shor. The two operate an Xbox repair shop in Charlotte and decided to donate their own personal Xbox 360 consoles after hearing about the break-in.

"First thing we thought of was ‘How many do we have and let's get it to them,'" said Shor.
"Donating our consoles means nothing to us, as far as losing them, but to them [pediatric patients] gaining them, it is everything," Calandra added.

Wow, this thread is stupid. This isn't even a discussion, because all of you come in here for basically +1 post saying the same things,

Uh, Obviously he did wrong, so why does everybody feel the need to repeat it? This thread would've been closed if the kids didn't have cancer and they had consoles stolen from them.
Nobody would've cared if the dude stole a couple of consoles from kids without illnesses. But god forbid if he stole them from kids with an illness that might possibly end their lives prematurely, it's the worst thing in the world. Shit, If I had cancer, I'd be outside living not sitting my ass on Xbox all day.
All I'm asking is that you take some time to think and not just jump to conclusions and look at shit all one sided, not like this:
