Apple should now watch, as Samsung is gearing up to release their own handheld to compete with Apple's very popular iPod Touch. The first appearance of this “phone-less Android handheld,” came last week at The Consumer Electronics Show.

Some of the few things we know about Samsung’s new hadheld is that it is 9.88mm thin, has a camera, and will run Android. Also we know that this handheld will NOT have the Super AMOLED, which is something that is known to the Galaxy series.


So what do you guys think, will this be a success, will you buy it, and do you think that finally something has come along to dethrone the ipod? Discuss

im going to get this when it comes out, because it runs Android and we will hopefully be able to access the Android Market too. =D

I'd buy it. I love Samsung and I extremely love Android. Like if I could I'd marry Android OS and have it's babies.

thats two of us that are buying it, but the price is going to be the ultimate way of getting people to buy it and for the product's success.

seeing the Galaxy S series and the Nexus S, i'm expecting a real NICE looking device! i'll buy it if it's between $100-$200 range!
