The reason why it was only xbox and ps3, because them 2 were the only consoles to bring in the most cash but for 2011 this could change? Nintendo as we all know are in the process of making a 3D Ds, as posted by Jesse in the thread here. But nintendo has yet to do anything for 2010, looks like they were waiting for 2011.

It was quite close between the consoles who would sell the most, PS3 came in at £414 million and xbox at a further £538 million, In the consoles sold altogether, Microsoft sold 18.3 million consoles, and Sony only 13.8 million but im sure to say, they both made quite a bit of money off them.

During all of 2010, even though the credit crunch is going on, 63 million consoles and PC games were sold, as seen that the video game industry is yet to have fallen under the cred crunch and still stays strong there. As leading on from there, black ops became the Uks fastest sellign game in history.

All there is to say now, Well done xbox and Ps3 but looks like xbox got the upper hand. And of course well done to tryarc.
