With Dead Space 2 aiming to take up spots on retailer shelves later in the month, EA and Visceral have seen fit to release six screenshots for the title.

They are posted below, courtesy of Gamespot, and if we are looking over these properly, screens one and three have been released before.

Dead Space 2’s latest trailer, The Excavations, will get you up to speed on the game’s story before the sequel hits later this month.

Dead Space 2 is out on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on January 25 in the US and January 28 in Europe, which gives you plenty of time to try out the demo on PSN and XBL if you haven’t already.
