(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well a couple of years ago I was obsessed with blue LEDs.
I had about 30 single one's and about 10 little strips out of a car magazine.

I was that mad, I hooked them up in my room under my computer desk and TV to a switch.
When I turned them on my room just glowed !

After that, I needed something else.. Something I could show off Winky Winky
So I bought a You must login or register to view this content. tinted the windows black and put neons EVERYWHERE, In the dark you could not miss it.. When I went forward lights actually came on the front.

Now, I'm here with my latest project.
I'm doing my room again :y:

I'm wanting to know your idea's and what you think I should do.
I would like to customize my PS3 with some blue LED's by cutting out the "PS3" logo, Putting some plexiglass inside the PS3 with some LED's hiding behind so when its on the PS3 lights up blue.

Or maybe just say what the hell and get a clear PS3 case with LED fan?

Also a custom PS3 controller so the PS3 button glows blue.

Well anyways, Here's what I have so far.. Don't forget to tell me what YOU think I should do.

Son. You wish.
This is a sick idea, Would be awesome to get a semi-transparent outer shield for the PS3, and fill the inside of the ps3 with lights, So the WHOLE thing lights up on turning on.

Why semi-transparent?
So we can't see the mechanics on the inside.

Yeah but there you can see every mechanic on the inside, and when you light it up, it won't look too great.

Where as if you took a semi-transparent (Like glass with steam on it type..) casing and put LED lights in it, it would light it up, but keep the mechanics hidden and therefore, be totally awesome =D

Oh you mean like a frosted glass texture?

I supposed I could buy that and sand it down.. Give it a rough effect so I can't see through it.

Exactly. This way, when the LEDs light up, it'll be hard/impossible to see the mechanics inside, while still getting that glowing effect coming from the PS3.

But sometimes the full casing of it could get old after a while. Personally the idea of the light up PS3 label was amazing.

So possibly, Have the casing all frosted glass type but have the PS3 label completely smooth so its nice and clear, and looks awesome.

And possibly an own personal ingraving for yourself if possible Cool Man (aka Tustin)
