(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright well here we go, another thread... This one no where close to the humorous ones i've made recently. Bare with me here because this needs to be pointed out.

this may look like a call of duty post but it is meant to address the progression of this community

As many of you know and many of you don't know I was here in 2008. Back then the community was much smaller, a tightly knit group... we were happy when we hit 20,000 members. Thats much different today, where we are growing at around a thousand members every couple days. With that said we have to take a step back and look at the changes that have occurred, back in 2008 and 2009 this website gained its members due to its ability to produce glitch videos daily, we prided ourselves on how skilled our glitchers were. Now its all about the hacks. See thats where i see the problem... hacking is a leechers sport, ~10 people will come up with a bunch of different cool hacks but ~100,000+ people will use those hacks. Glitching was something everyone had to learn to do, whether it be strafe jumping, bounces, bayonet jumps, elevators, you name it you would have to learn how to do it. Hacking on the other hand is a download and go kind of thing as long as you know how to be a leecher. Now yes I know its the progression as a community, but I sort of see that glitching was a gateway drug, we got bored with simple glitches so we delved into the world of hacking, but thats just not fun because it takes the ambition, the curiosity, the integrity away from community that once was a glitching community. Yes there still are glitches being produced, but no where near the rate that they could be if we actually focused on finding them. When all people care about is waiting for the next hack why would they bother glitching. Who knows what we could of found on any of these newer released games if we weren't worried about when hacked lobbies were coming.

Basically what im saying is lets put hacking on the back burner, yes its a big thing now, but lets not put all our interest in it. Lets focus on progressing as a community to be a community, get involved with each other in finding things the old fashioned way because thats the way that got us to where we are today.

I support this 100%, it's funny how one thing can change a community.

+ I wouldn't call it 'progressing as a community', because it's not. People are signing up to leech off of the hackers such as DEREKTROTTER, oX matto Xo, Hunter, etc. and the content they post. They contribute 0% to the society, the only way to see all these posts is just create an account.

What I'M trying to say is, it's not a community when all of these hack-leechers are not posting, helping, donating, etc.

Most of the hacks I see now I don't even bother to do them, because it's pretty much leeching. I'm not saying posting all the hacks is bad, because what you're doing is making a name for yourself, which is completely understandable, all we need to do is take action on being a COMMUNITY more than looking for new hacks.
