A teenager who supervised an 8-year-old boy who shot himself with an Uzi submachine gun at a 2008 gun fair in Massachusetts said Friday the former police chief charged in the boy's death knew he was going to work on the firing line that day.
Michael Spano testified Friday.
A video of Christopher Bizilj firing the Uzi that killed him was shown to jurors in court on Thursday.
The boy's father, Charles Bizilj, testified in court Thursday that, judging from a flier he read, he believed that the October 2008 Machine Gun Shoot & Firearms Expo would be a safe event for his two young sons.
But as he filmed his younger son, 8-year-old Christopher Bizilj, firing a micro Uzi submachine gun, the boy lost control of the weapon and shot himself in the head, Bizilj said at Hampden Superior Court during the trial for one of the people charged in connection with the boy's death.
Spano testified that he told the boy's father that "it wasn't a good idea" to let the child fire it.
This is truly sad and I think it is the fathers fault what do you guys think?
