Here's a few statements that kids threw out on the floor for debate, and keep in mind i'm not ****ing with you they actually said this stuff:

Smoking marijuana 20 times will cause so much brain damage that you will forget your name

Marijuana is one of the deadliest drugs out there and it is associated with a majority of drug related deaths

Legalizing pot wouldn't be smart because its so expensive people wouldn't be able to afford it anyways

Marijuana is so bad it is almost guaranteed that it will lead to other drugs like meth and cocaine.

These kids parents and our public school system has really failed these children. Who's telling them that they'll die if they smoke weed, I don't think anyones ever smoked themselves to death. I laughed out loud when the kid said that pot was too expensive, I picked up a 1/4 for 30 bucks a few days ago. Also its technically a gateway drug but smoking pot is nothing at all like shooting up heroin.

People need to stop using scare tactics to turn kids away from things they don't think are acceptable. I pretty much listened to a bunch of brainwashed highschool students talk about how dangerous pot was for 4 hours and it was apparent that they had been tricked by conservative douches into believing that weed was the ultimate evil.

Next time you see a clueless teen or a helicopter parent talking out of their ass about pot do the right thing and educate them on the benefits of marijuana.

Some of those anti-marijuana commercials are hilarious...I'm sure there are plenty of idiots who believe that crap too.

I'm pretty sure that if you were a caring parent, you wouldn't want your kids smoking anything at all, or doing any type of drug. Oh and there are no benefits to smoking weed... Tell me, what does it give you that will help you succeed in life? If you smoke weed then whatever, but don't try to encourage everyone else too, the world is already full of enough drug users...

Alot of Model UN kids are idiots. In my school anyone who's in it gets crapped on by the rest of the school, so I'm not really surprised by any of those statements

however, we shouldn't be telling kids the "benifits" of marijuana, marijuana is a cool thing if your gonna have it with a few mates and benefits chill, but it's when people become addicted to it, and become crackheads on the stuff...thats when things COULD go bad.

everywhere i go/look these days, adults are always telling me how bad marijuana is, however they never tell me the good sides to it, but the fact is, marijuana is a "good" drug, but it does have some side effects on people, just like any other drug/food on earth...
ppl gotta face the facts, everything good, has some bad side effects to it.

But the thing is they could only tax it for so long because all you need is one seed and you can start growing yourself, therefor the government stops making money

ah marijuana I hate on this forums how ppl are like ""haha 420 bro"" it pissess me off to see 420 everywhere yea you smoke pot cool keep it low I honestly hate talking about weed yes I do smoke it and I put limits on it and I would like to disagree with OP trust me if you're a true pothead weed is EXTREMELY expensive unless you buy some shitty kronic, a dub (20 dllrs) lasts my friend who smokes weed everyday 2 days tops if he's lucky, then he just buys more and more he wastes almost 100 Dllrs weekly on pot and honestly weed changed him I met him my Sophmore year in high school and he was actually pretty chill and cool he wasn't that big of a pothead back then but now Holy **** he won't shut the **** up about weed I hate having 2 classess with him weed this weed that, every single day I met alot of potheads and there's the ones that do it but don't really talk about it only when a random convo about it pops up (me) or those who just think weed and that if they don't smoke it during the day they get pissed (my friend) so yea weed can be addictive to some
